Thank you. Yeah, I cringed on every pull. But it stayed consistent all day and kept asking for more.

So overall, How has your experience been in regards to the Adaptronic and the new CHRA? Also can you tell us how your revised WI setup is versus the old setup.

very nice! i need to see what mine is making on a dynojet. all we have around here is heatbreaker Dyno Dynamics (but they're wayyyy better to tune on).

sounds like the exact same response as my setup. you can hear when he floors it right at 0:16 and spools up nice and fast. sounds pissed.

Is the previous GT35R Dyno sheet in here? I would be curious to see it over-layed matches what I have seen.

Thanks all!

Elliot, yes my previous sheets are in the thread. I will post all 3 with all three setups when I get a chance.

Ben, as requested....

I never read build threads because honestly I get bored. Usually I'll go through a little bit just to look at some nice pics and then gtfo, but I decided to go through yours in more detail due to the fact that I plan to run a similar setup to you (but not as **** retentive unfortunately).

Let me tell you that after going through just the first page, I read EVERY.SINGLE.POST. you put on this 25 page build thread. This is beyond amazing. Great work. Thoroughly thoroughly blown away. I have some questions for you if you don't mind me PMing you with..

Again, phenomenal job.

Thank you as well! I don't take it past 7500rpm.. With full power delivered, there isn't much need.

Just the beginning

Thanks so much everyone!! I got back from the Chris Carlisi Memorial today and I had an awesome time!! My FD got a lot of attention which was so flattering. I'm just really glad that I have had the opportunity to bring my car to this level. Still lots to do, and more tweaks. This really is the beginning because now the car is running and making great power, I get to address all of the little things that I have put off, and even some of the areas that aren't quite up to par for my power level.

So some of you asked for a video, and here it is. Just going over some the new challenges and things to fix, as well as doing a 4th gear highway pull.

Thanks again guys!

Correct. I think I mentioned it in the video. Nonetheless, it is flakey. It works sometimes. I have some plans for that stock cluster....

A lot of great photo, the exhaust drone is not bad at all, it seems more quiet than my boosted V6 with 2.5" straight turbo back. Not sure what you have in mind for the cluster, if you are thinking about Speedhut, they do sales all the time for holiday, usually 15% off and I think 20% off during bf sale.

has anyone made a list of features comparing this to other ECUs? i'm wondering how it compares physically (like ignition/injection drivers, etc.)

the android app seems very nice, but that seems to be about the only thing better i've seen. people seem to be doing some great things with it though, and it is cheaper than haltech ps1k...

How would you like to personally talk to the chief firmware writer at Haltech? Sounds like a long shot huh? Say for some reason you did end up talking with him....and somewhere in the convo you mentioned the need for some sort of firmware update for something that was needed to better suit your needs and the rotary community, hence it would be justifiable to write a new firmware code. But, its Haltech they would prolly laugh at all of this and say sorry. Whether it was for the simple reason that there aren't enough Rotary users running platinum series ECU's or the fact that it'd be too much $ for the company as a whole, if demand isn't there. In any case you get the picture, unwilling due to various reasons.

On the other hand, Adaptronic, you can openly communicate to the developer/owner right here on this forum. Or the Adaptronic forum. Have the same request and why its valid, boom he'll write a new firmware upgrade for all suitable models of Adaptronic ECU's.

Maybe that will help you see the light. Support is everything in the ECU world.

Yep, that is what I am considering.

I want to look into it more, but I may use 2 DM100's in place of the coolant and oil pressure, then go back to my stock column. This way I can display up to 8 metrics, or 4 and 1. Either way, something has to happen with this flakey speedo and tach.

+1

- I and a few other people talked to Andy about the PLX integration... Boom, it happened.

- FFE released their trigger kit... Done, with a video on how to set it up with the ECU.

- Oh, a lot of people are using ID injectors. Wouldn't it be nice to just pre-select their dead times from a drop down menu?...... Baaam, it's there now.

I don't have a lot of experience with any other ECU or manufacturer. But based on what I have seen, I really like the Adaptronic, and have been blown away with their customer service.
