93 RHD "The Wifes" resto-mod
 

HI all! I recently bought my the FD she has always wanted ( i have now fallen in love), we bought the car with a front end collision and no rear interior for about 4500. 8 months and this is the progress I have made on it. It started as a "ill just fix the front end etc etc...". Me being me, It has turned into something a bit more. My goal is to restore this car down to every nut and bolt (to the best of my ability). Let me know what you guys think! Ill update as much as time will allow!

Awesome progress so far. How many hours have you logged on the project? Always love seeing these throw away part out type cars being restored to their former glory. Great work, really excited to see the finished product.

Thanks man. Im not gonna lie i cant even begin to think about how much time ive put into it so far, I wouldnt even know what to guess haha. Most of the tedious work is still ahead too.

All I can say is wow. I'm jealous of how nice it is. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Who makes those rear control arms? I've never seen those before, and that Racing Beat beat brace is awesome.

I cant wait till its done also! Will be ordering brakes then next is engine bay motor etc. The rear arms are powered by max or parts shop max. Hopefully ill be receiving the sway bar mount kit from SBG soon so i can get all that installed.

Thanks man! Hopefully ill be getting to the supra after this one. This is my first time restoring a car and boy has it been fun.

I've been working on a project with a similar amount of work and I know it's a HUGE job to do, kudos to sticking with it and making a sweet car!

Yea man it is a lot of work but i really do enjoy it. There is nothing more satisfying than seeing the fruits of your labor. Have a build thread?

Just stumbled across this build thread - great progress so far :icon_tup:

Always nice to see someone getting down to the bare bones so that when the car is finished you know exactly whats under there. I am planning to do the same, but in small sections. I look forward to following your progress!

Just wondering - where did you get the new brake reservoir from?

Thanks for the kind words man. This is my first car down to bare bones and it is very satisfying, just not to the wallet hahaha. Reservoir came from the japanese mazda dealer close by me, im sure you could get them at a local dealer.
