false advertisement, sold me an engine that he claimed was an s5 bare block that still ran when i got home and opened it up it turn out to be a mix of s4 irons gsl-se or older housings with double coolant seals, an s5 center iron and s4 rotors and one which was seized on the e-shaft, it was missing an oil control ring, and most side seals were stuck flat. i asked for a refund and he refused to return my money, bad seller, no morals. do not do business with this guy

^Yes you can. Just make sure you have the sheriff serve him or he won't have to show up to court. Small claims covers any claim that is under $5000.

yep that's him he sales real expensive , and all his parts are more then likely from the junkyard. and then he try's to say there new or in working condition, i also both some parts from him that didn't work. you could try court but you wont get nothing from him. did he gave you some type of invoices ass proof of the sale. :egrin::egrin:

yea this guy is bad news i bought a stock tmic from him while he was under the name rotaryhell on craigslist. the picture he had on his post was nothing like i received. the picture was a clean s5 tmic with the frame around it. when i go pick it up he brings out a crappy dented one with no frame around it. then i said it was nothing like the picture and he said oh if you want that one it will be $20 more

I got an s4 t2 motor from rotaryhog (BIJAN) in Montebello, in a trade a while back, he claimed it was running, had a stuck seal,needless to say it was junk. I gave him a second chance on another eng, s5 na,only this time I had him take it apart for me, irons were toast, it was ok though, I only needed the Rotors and housings. But yes, I hear bad stuff of Hector. They're all friends. I would rather deal with BIJAN though. His cl. ads also say commerce.

Another Scam Event by Hector
A friend of mine bought a RX3 Station Wagon from Hector in the city of Bell back in April of this year. Friend said he had some really nice cars; Turbocharged SA RX7, RX2 and REPU
So on with the drama: The story he tells my friend was he drove the car from the desert where he bought it and the car ran great to Bell. I find that hard to believe after looking at it when my friend towed it home - gas tank was rust rotted inside, no exhaust, shitty tires, radiator was bone dry etc. So my friend goes to the DMV to register it and turned out there were $670 in registration back fees that Hector just conveniently forgot to mention. Hector told my friend that the registration and title was cool and it was under a non-op. To add fuel to the fire there were parts on the wagon that were missing when he went to pick it up. My friend tries to make phone contact with him and the calls went ignored. Just this week my buddy was scouring EBAY to find parts for the RX3 Wagon and low and behold "HOOKS ROTARY" is selling RX3 Wagon parts at outrageous prices!!! :scratch: - his comments in the item description stated " these were extra parts for my RX3 Wagon that I just sold" The word on the street is that this dude is being investigated by the Bell PD...for what? I have no idea. Maybe his fraudulent ways are catching up to him maybe? :egrin: What's up with this dude? :dunno::dunno::dunno::dunno: In hindsight my friend wanted the wagon and considers the ordeal not a big deal to heartache over. He is in the middle of a pretty nice restoration process of the wagon and it is coming along well. |
Yes, I was ripped-off by this "Hector" in Bell, also.
He sold me wheels, supposedly 4x110, but they were actually 4x108. Refused to answer my calls afterward. I live in San Diego, so it is a long drive to get back there. He is always posting RX2 and RX7 parts on Craigslist under "Hooks Rotary", name Hector, 323 788 7786 |
