Jwteknix- Buyers beware of "quality and condition of stuff he sells" Pics and Vids

Sorry I didnt put this up as soon as the car arrived because I am currently deployed right now but those who where there can chimmy in!

James burned me on the 1991 Turbo 2 I bought from him. I asked him a series of questions in regards of the vehicle and he clearly responded back with zero problems on my list besides what was already noted on his ad. Everything started from the drop off of the vehicle- IT DID NOT START.

This thread is to make sure other members don’t get “BURNED” or “SCAMMED” like I just did. Videos and pictures will be up soon to show you how great of a car he made it seem. His response was he got the car a few months ago and didn’t get a chance to check it out……….YOU PUT YOUR INPUT

1-My two main concerns where RUST and ENGINE operation. He stated on a reply back that the motor had 90 psi. in the front and over 100 psi in the rear. Upon compression checking at LUCKY 7 racing. We got 115 psi. up front and 50 psi rear. So I took it apart and it had a chipped seal and a broken corner seal.

He said it had a bad TPS so it wouldn’t idle well but ran good after boosting it. Yeah running on one rotor.

2-Rust- I am from New Jersey- “CAMDEN” at that so I know what cars from up north are in condition so I asked him “Does the car have rust” And well to my surprise I find the front cross member torn and has one rivet holding it.

On the floor pan there’s a hole that you can stick your hand in and touch the carpet inside, behind that one there’s another one. Not to mention the massive size dent next to the main hole. On the driver side there’s two more patches of rust that are starting to eat away also. HUMMM I saw those just by laying on my side with all four wheels on the ground. He said the exhaust wasn’t on the car and he was going to put it on for transporting .

His response to this was,”Dude I seriously did not know it had rust under there, I feel bad “………Are you serious you change the exhaust on a car and didn’t notice holes on the floor pan.

3-WINDOW- I clearly asked if there was any chips or cracks and bingo I have a dime size starfish on it.

4-BODY-I also asked him where there any dents bigger than a baseball....lol I had to replace a whole door because it was smashed on the bottom as if he lowered the car on a jack.

Now I wasn’t going to burn him because He paid for partial of a rebuild $700 when i asked him for $1000 still it doesnt justify him screwing me over like this. I paid $2800 for the car and $700 for shipping from N.J. to Ca., I should of just sent this car back to him and get my money but its is also my fault for puchasing a car without seeing it first. But after much talk with Ifelt he was telling me everthing about the car. Theres something about it that I makes me want to keep it even more after all this crap. He clearly knew the condition of this vehicle to the T.

ATTENTION TO AMP- forum member here ,if you are reading this James said you burned him on this deal because he didn’t know either….lol deal with that one.

I been a member on this forum for a while and made hundreds of transactions. It never crossed my mind to even try to burn someone . Even if there was a small discrepancy I would let the buyer know. But he didn’t care so buyers BEWARE OF THE QUALITY AND CONDITION OF PARTS ---JAMES AUDENRIED SELLS!! Aka JWTEKNIX on here and on no pistons!

bullshit he didnt see that rust.

is the damage beyond fixing?

im glad all my cars are california cars lol

Alex Rodriguez 05-02-09 03:00 PM

I blame myself too for buying the car without looking at it personally but , I can see if I was to ask if theres rust on the car and he said no and when i got it I saw a dime size rust spot i would even bother getting mad but look at the size of that shiiiiit . He knew thats the worst part.

Heres our conversation on a PM.

-Yes, it runs. It just needs a tps and throttle body adjustment
low rpms are rough but once you get past 1/4 throttle and boost it runs fine.
-Since I purchased the car I'v only put 3-5k miles on it.
When purchased compression was alittle higher then 90 all around the front and over 100 in the rear due to a faulty omp line that occured from the original owner and has since been fixed.
-Starts up right away.
-Premixed every fill up.
-Does NOT smoke.
-Does NOT burrn oil/coolant.
-Yes, title is clear and in hand.
-There is NO rust on the exterior of the car. I have not been under it, but when it was stored by me or the previous owner it was garage kept.
-NO dents bigger then a baseball. There is a crack in the sideskirt.
-Previous owner had an alarm system installed, which I removed. Have never had any electrical problems.
-Clutch engagement is fine. There might be an ACT clutch Assmebly in there, I never looked.
-Yes, it DOES leak. The oil cooler lines need replacement they are almost rotted thru, like most peoples. I do have an extra set of stock lines I will include with the car.
-None of the windows are cracked or chipped.

If you have anymore questions please let me know.
Thanks,
James

James

Great could you please answer theses questions for me.

- Does the car run?
-Does the motor have good compression?
-Does it smoke?
-Does it burn oil/ coolant?
-Is the title clear?
-Do you have the title in hand?
-Is there rust on the car?
-Is there any damage bigger than a baseball on the body?
-Any electrical gremlins?
-Hows the clutch engagement?
-Any leaks ?
-Are all windows good with no cracks?

Alex Rodriguez 05-02-09 03:02 PM

oh when i asked is there any dents larger than a base ball he said no!! Well haaa i had to replace a whole door too because there was a huge dent like if it was dropped on a jack while lowering it. And the sunroof has a million rust bubbles!

Exactly, his intent was to scam me. Because what would of happen when i had to change the oil on the car ......woooah where did the holes come from..BS

I already have another shell where i will be fixing the floor pan. I am going to save this car. I have replaced floor pans on car where it was way worse. I am lucky its not on the a frame area.

Alex Rodriguez 05-02-09 03:17 PM

you live on pendleton right now?

i live in san marcos, but i dont see to many FCs in our area...

GoodfellaFD3S 05-02-09 03:36 PM

Amp/Gio is a good buddy of mine and 100% an honest straight-shooter.

I'd be willing to bet that he is certainly not to blame in this sordid tale.......

JWteknix 05-02-09 04:09 PM

AMP has nothing to do with this situation and should not have been brought in to this he is a 100% good guy just so this clears his name.
I had no idea of the extent of the rust, the car sat in my garage almost the whole time of my ownership the furthest I had the car up was on a sissor jack to replace the exhaust, i drove this car back and forth to work for months and though nothing more of a tps problem and I sincerly apoligized to alex and refunded him some of his money back, a couple weeks ago for the problems and thought all was well, but I guess not.
MODS can you please remove my personal information?

fc3s91 05-02-09 05:55 PM

I think your personal info should stay up so another forum member does not get ripped off. I personal saw the damage. There is no way you did not see this. It was in plan view.
Thanks Robert

Alex Rodriguez 05-03-09 09:02 AM

update Amp pmd me and he is 100% honest on this situation he told me that james knew the extent of the damage because he had the car on a lift to show him the rust

again another bs story that u just fed the members of this forum and your info will stay up there until i say so

do you seriously think you made a honest sell? how can sit there and say you didnt know when u can see the holes just by laying on your side.

the least you can do is help me on the rebuild a little more then we can make certain arrangements to cvlear your name . i came out of pocket almost 3500 for blown and rusted fc 700 will not make me happy now you better add another 700 to even get me off your back

Amp is a good guy in my book he has nothing to do with this . James tried to cover himself up by blamming AMP.

heres amp's pm he sent me so we can see how much james aka jwteknix is a liar.

i assure you , he bought the car as-is and knew well in advance of purchase that the rusts existed...
teknics (another forum member) was present when we had the car on my lift to show him..

im in my 40s... been around rx7s and rotary folks long enough to have had an established reputation...
this doesnt certainly put me in a good light and im not happy... im extremely peed off..

heres a thought.. if i scammed him.. wouldnt you have expected a post from him?

im sorry about your experience man...

I don't know anyone involved in this situation, but that's pretty bullshit that the member who more and more it seems intentionally sold you a misrepresented car tried to toss another member under the bus. I hope you atleast get the resolution that you feel would be satisfactory.

I don't mean to kick you when you're down, but why ever buy a car sight unseen?!? I've heard sooo many terrible stories whenever people go this route. It sucks that that's the case, but I'd rather lose money on a trip inspecting a car than to buy something I never wanted in the first place.

amp 05-03-09 07:03 PM

need to put in my two cents here and add some background ... unfortunately ive somehow managed to become involved..
yes.. im confirming that james was made aware of the rust prior to his purchase..
however just to clarify.. the extent of the rust wasnt as bad as its current state from two years ago..

james has apologized for my involvement and indicated that my name only came up as record for the previous owner..
not as means to implicate me as the person that needed to be held accountable for the issues..

as far as the motor.. compression test peaked @ 115psi front and 90psi rear at the time of purchase back in 07...
james daily'd her for a time frame without issue while he worked on his other fc ..

hurleysurf24 05-04-09 12:02 AM

mmm id take his personal info down otherwise you are looking at a potential lawsuit for a slew of acts. just friendly advice.

also if you still wanna sell me the t2 wheels lmk :)

OK, I removed your personal info....now, let's handle this.

First, I have no doubt that you were fully aware of the damage under the car. You yourself have said that amp was "100% a good guy", and he has stated here that he put this car on his lift and showed it to you when you bought it. So, for you to claim here that you had no idea, well, that's a load of BS as far as I am concerned. You were shown the rust holes. You knew they were there. You lied about it in the description of the car to Alex. You lied again in this thread, claiming you didnt know. That doesnt fly around here.

Second, you have said nothing about the door he had to replace on this car that you said had no damage. You posted old pics of ths car in your FS thread, by your own admission, and said you would get new pics but never did. That needs to be addressed as well, since a car with rusted-out floorboards, a blown motor, and a door that needs to be replaced is NOT worth $3000. You lied to this buyer in order to get the amount you wanted. That sucks. And we dont allow that around here. Its that simple.

Then, we're on to the blown motor. You took this guy's cash knowing you were lying to him, and then you send him back $700 for it, thinking that it will make up for this mess? Dude, youre kidding, right? youre lucky he is pursuing this in here, since he's military, he could go speak with the MArine Corps legal services folks, show them how he has been defrauded, and you could have a court case on your hands quick, fast, and in a hurry! In the meantime, I want to know how you intend to resolve this matter. Alex has made you an offer, and in all your dishonesty you didnt even comment on it. I would suggest that you rethink that position....

Alex Rodriguez 05-04-09 10:27 PM

sucks because he made the car seem like all i needed to do was some tlc until i leave for afghanistan wich is all i needed for a daily yet i get screwed its ok i am already taking things one step further

james if you want to work things out and make them even send me a pm i can only get internet every now and then via phone so until then i will be waiting

thanks for all who are staying tuned and yes i know i shouldnt never bought the car without looking at it but i been looking for a 91 t2 by vin for so long and no that i got it it isnt worth 100 bux

Supernaut 05-06-09 02:54 PM

Man thats sad. By no means is misrepresenting a sale right but especially doing that to someone in this community? We are all brothers and sisters here. Even though people say that Alex should have seen the car first, I would have thought that in this community, it wouldn't be necessary.

Sorry Alex. James is scum.

Rob XX 7 05-06-09 05:44 PM

part of me still thinks maybe he was just clueless? Maybe did not think things through, I dont know?

I mean he knows you are a very well known and respected member of the board, seems to me it would have been easier to EBAY the car or sell locally and good bye good luck.

Then again there have been people who are well known who straight up rip people off and vanish................ some have even returned!

Alex Rodriguez 05-08-09 04:04 PM

its ok guys i havent got one pm ,text, a phone from James trying to make things right not even a simpl "i am sorry"

i would never do someone wrong like he did to me ,even if he told me the floor has a ton of holes as long as we work on a cheaper price for the car i would of been happy hands down its the fact that he lied that pisses me off

its ok like i said karma is a mother i fly out to atco and englishtown every year with my team and seventstock is just around the corner ,we will meet one day

Alex Rodriguez 05-08-09 04:05 PM

sorry if you canyt read my post its because i am doing it by phone since i am no where near computers

dvs71990 05-11-09 08:41 PM

I hate this scamming bull. I was even looking into purchasing car being he only lives an hour from me.
