Jason/RX7Store - 3 months no product!!
 

I ordered a 99 Spec bumper, lip, fog lights and turnsignals from Jason at the rx7store on 27 August. He emailed me the next day and said the bumper and lights were backordered no problem.

Get an email 10/2 that the bumpers should be in any day. On 10/9 Jason writes back that some bumpers came in but not enough to fill my order. Again no biggie but I ask if he can ship me the foglights and turn signals. Turn Signals are backordered so once again no biggie.

Last week on 11/22 I pm asking about the status of the order....no response.

This week I PM asking again and why he cant respond to questions about the order. No response.

I see he is actively online but nothing to me in over 40 days despite my efforts.

I think I have been more than patient and understanding but at this point it has been 100 days since I placed my order and it isnt filled and I am getting no respones.

Oh and I have called and left numerous messages......

Do some searching on the forums. These things have been back ordered forever. It took me about 51/2 months for mine to come in from another source. Then I turned around and sold it for $600.00 shipped for the bumper skin alone in about 3-4 minutes after posting on this forum. These things are becoming harder and harder to get.

I understand backorders but when I cant get an answer or response in 45 days it is unacceptable.

Sorry for no response. If you sent a PM then it might have been mixed in with all the others I get. What Djseven said is correct. I checked with Mazda on monday regarding the bumpers and they are telling me it will be the end of Jan. early Feb before more come in. There has to be some issue in Japan because I have never had to wait so long for these things.

Thanks for the update....is it possible to send what you can? Foglights? Turn Signals?

No problem. If you ordered replica turnlamps I will have some here in the next day and ship both items.

My initial post is a bit poorly worded. I did end up receiving the bumper and lip in OCT.

See what happens when you type what you are thinking and dont proof read...

Update:
As of yesterday I finally received another PORTION of the order. The turnsignals arrived but STILL no fog lights despite the promises they were being "overnighted".

Placed the order in August and still in mid January I am still incomplete parts despite being charged.

I have not recieved the fog lights from Mazda yet so I sent the turn lamps first. As soon as the fog lights are in I will ship them or you can cancel them if you like.

Actually Im just going to refund you for the fog lights and you can get them from some one else. I make $10 off the fog lights and not worth dealing with the complaining on it. Sorry I couldnt help on it.

Jason as I stated in the PM I dont want a refund and I would consider this FAR from complaining.

On Oct 14th you sent a PM saying you HAD the foglights in your possession and you would send them but I didnt get them then Dec 5th (Per your PM) you still had fog lights but still didnt ship them...Dec 15th (Per your PM) you were shipping them out.....Dec 26th you were out of Fogs but getting more in on the 28th and you were overnighting them.

Now it is 2 more weeks and you dont have foglights and you say I am complaining? and you wont send me the foglights you said you had for 4 months?

I let you know when they are in. I will credit your card until then.
This 99 spec stuff has been a pain to get lately. Seems like I have to wait months for any of it.

My frustration comes from you having the stuff but then not shipping it, then you are sold out. I know the 99 spec stuff is wierd to get that is why I kept asking you to ship it while you had it in your possession.

I havent had any of the fog lights. Part of the problem was I was hosting a GB on this stuff for another company which really slowed things down because of all the orders and the long wait on bumpers etc..
Typically I can get this stuff quick, but not for the past 6 months.
