Dylan Wolf (scammer)

beware of this guy. he put a wtb thread of random parts that he need so I replied and I put pics in his thread. I gave him a prices and he said he would give me $35 extra if would pack it carefully and add insurance. so he paid later that night and I shipped the next day. then I see his thread got locked. so before I give him a tracking # I asked him to call my cell. he replies in a pm that he doesn't have free long distance on his phone. and gives me excuses that he just moved to another state that why my paypal doesn't match and he hasn't updated his paypal info. well the package was already shipped and on its way so I gave him the tracking info. then later than night a get an email from paypal a dispute Item not received. right then I new it was a scam so I call ups and intercepted the package back to sender .It ending up costing me $60 in shipping but atleast I will be getting my parts back

if he would have waited to file a claim 3 days later not the day I shipped it he would have got my parts.i think he feared I was transferring the money to my bank account and he wouldn't be able to retrieve it.but that saved me.

He has been banned.

He was able to post because his WTB thread was posted in the West Classifieds section and not the regular classifieds, a loophole that I will get closed ASAP. Thanks for the warning on this guy and glad you got your parts back.

there were so many signs that was a scammer when I look at it after the fact.signed up just this month,0 posts, different state he asked me to ship it to than the location in his avatar.offer me $35 more to insure and ship ups,did not have a cell with long distance calling.wont fall for this again

I try to tell everyone, do not deal in PMs like that. The only thing I would exchange in PMs is private contact info, paypal, etc. Everything else should be in the thread, it keeps things more honest. And, in the case of someone like this, you will have everything laid out to prove your case.

this guy works at the company of paypal address . xc I want my shipping back. stop the scamming we know who you are

Copeland 07-23-14 08:34 AM

Reach out and contact his company and ask to speak to his supervisor. Tell his supervisor about what happened and see if that straightens him back up. You may or may not get your shipping costs back but I'm sure his supervisor will at least give the scammer something to think about (possibly a new job since scamming is bad for business).
