Do NOT buy from TmoneyRX7tt pics included

Hey, I ordered an Air Pump from TmoneyRX7tt, and when it arrived yesterday which I was happy about, it was damaged! Now the first thing I thought was I should contact the shipping company right? BUT when I looked inside the box, there was NO insulation or anything, in other words the air pump was quickly thrown in a torn up box and shipped out.

BTW it's in horrible shape with rust on the pully, and the pulley has sloppy freeplay. It's not the sellers fault it took so long, HOWEVER it IS his fault that it got damaged from not packaging correctly. Thats almost the same thing as wrapping the air pump in ductape with an address and throwing it in the truck. im VERY angry he wasted my time and money but this is a WARNING to not buy anything from "TmoneyRX7tt" as me is more concered with making a quick buck then about the quality of what he is selling heres some pictures of the Air Pump Look at pictuture #3, where is the insulation? I actually blame myself for this... I should have researched him more before I bought, this will NEVER happen again, I learned my lesson

Holy shit that's bad.

str8ryd 09-12-08 04:24 PM

LoL...this has been happening more and more with "new" sellers. I think we need a sticky describing how to properly package items before shipping.

BTW...if you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for this shipped to your door? If it was a dirt cheap price, that's part of the problem. I would estimate proper shipping/packaging alone costs $15-20 for a part this size and weight.

rowtareh? 09-12-08 10:20 PM

str8ryd- We should not have to make a thread about how package an item properly. We already do enough work around here making sure stuff is done correctly and thoroughly.

People should just buy from reputable sellers. Pay the extra money, and get a part from somebody who has sold many times through the forum.

I am hoping that something can be done about the defective part Ernesto.

Ernesto13B 09-12-08 11:48 PM

Yes and I do blame myself for this I'll admit im an idiot for buying from a seller who has no reputation. I bought it for $40 shipped for the air pump, and it WAS dirt cheap. Ill learn from my mistakes the hard way. Good news is that I am taking parts off of his POS Air Pump, and going to install them on my old air pump ( exellent condition), so I can repair it for free. All the parts he is selling belong in a junk yard, but anywho, from now on I ask for a "feedback thread"

Toyotarx7 09-13-08 12:04 AM

hey man like i told you before. its not my fualt, i did my side of the agreement like i said i would, i showed you detailed pictures when you asked, you and i stayed in contact back and forth and i answered all of your questions . but what can you do, when people dont get there way they point the finger right away and just make other pepole look bad just because ur " VERY ANGRY". ive sold many many things on this crumy forum and i have NEVER had a problem. i have shipped out to canada, cali, texas and even over seas. so for you to say and tell people not to buy from me and say my stuff belongs in the junk yard just cracks me up but ok, im not gunna sink to your level..... thank you for ur business : )

+1, if you have such a problem with it why do you continue to support it and then conduct business here?!?

I'm not doubting what you're saying, BUT the problem here is that you shipped out a part without any protective packaging! It's fairly obvious that the damage resulted from the poor packaging, therefore making you a poor seller for improper packaging. The OP's anger and thread title make sense to me

Of course we shouldn't have to, but the reality is that this exact situation is happening with increasing frequency all over this forum. I agree with your solution though. Pay more to someone reputable, make sure they understand to package the items very carefully, and possibly insure in case other unexpected issues arise. That'll solve about 99.9% of the shipping issues...

rowtareh? 09-13-08 04:21 PM

I agree with you. Maybe I can throw something together, or if somebody else wants to do it, they can post the thread, and I will stick it up in all the parts sections. :)

Ernesto13B 09-13-08 08:46 PM

The way it was shipped out was basically the same thing as wrapping the air pump in ductape, with an address on it, and tossing it in the truck to be shipped out... if it's damaged who's fault is it? it's obvious. He knows he is wrong, but doesnt wanna own up to his mistake. I have learned from this experience too, ALWAYS buy from a reputable seller, so I am partially at fault. When ever somebody sells me a good product I will spread the word. And whenever somebody screwes me over I will also spread the word, but to MORE people! Here is a thread for a user "Rotary Experiment Seven" He is a good guy, i'd buy from him again! https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...84#post8547984

I honestly have no idea. But still, iTrader is just as good as these feedback sections, if people would POST good transactions with sellers or buyers on this forum. But only the bad transactions get through. Hell, even I have feedback still through the forum, and I have not sold a part in over 2.5 years. The threads don't go anywhere.

Toyotarx7 09-15-08 05:01 PM

rowtareh.....are u one of the forums admist.????? if so y dont u set it up where each one of us recieve a point per every transaction we make like ebay does, like the feedback? set it up so that number shows up in our profiles when you click it.... the threads dont work as much as they are suppose to work. i mean ERNESTO has been trying to bash me ive already made 2 sales after his silly lil thread, so obviously its not working... wouldnt doing what ebay does solve ur problem ?

TmoneyRX7tt, you are in the wrong on this one.

It is your responsibility to package things properly. Buying some bubble wrap or even pulling some out of the trash in dumpsters behind major stores is what I do.

If the package arrives damaged then it is your responsibility to handle it with the shipping company that you used.

If the buyer wishes a full refund then you need to give it to him and deal with the shipper to get a claim for the damaged item.

The buyer has one responsibility and that is to pay for the item. All else is the sellers responsibility.

I would expect that you work out something with the buyer and come to a compromise for his aggravation and your lack of compassion here.

Do the right thing as I nor this Club has anymore tolerance for these issues.
