So I have been talking to a guy that is from the Dominican Republic. His username is JJcarbonfiber on instagram. I emailed him through my military email and it seems his name is Miguel Marte. Seems like the same guy. Hes offering to sell CF vortex generators and the attachment piece for the RE pro diffuser I just bought in japan. Anyone hear of this company and guy?

So I fell for it aswell. I originally placed in order back on May 25th with the promise of a 2 wk turnaround time which was completely bogus, even after several assurances that they were on schedule. After numerous requests for tracking numbers i finally received some on on June 20th, after tracking them online for the next 5-6 days, yes they were delivered to 2 different addresses so I was given someone else's tracking number which falls in line with what everyone in this thread has mentioned....ugh!

I opened dispute/ claim on both Paypal transactions right away, the order was close to 3k so I wasn't taking any chances. I finally received large package on June 30th that contained some side splitters, a chin spoiler and a bare diffuser missing all the add-ons. I was assured that another box was on it's way and somehow the shipper messed up.

I received another tracking number and was assured that it contained the rest of the order, pretty much everything for another car along with the missing add-ons for 2 diffusers. AT this point they had the ***** to ask me to release my claim because their paypal account is restricted.....I kindly replied with "sure, as soon as I'm able to verify that my order has been fullfilled in full".

The package arrives on July 10th, I look at the packing slip and it has all the items from my order listed, I open the box and.....it contains a single barebone diffuser missing all the addons and nothing else....FML.

At this point i'm done playing these games, paypal refunded the full amount for on order that they provided a tracking number that was simply a label creation with no movement. The second order I requested a partial refund that I felt was adequate. 3 days go by and I get a bunch of excuses again. I mean everything from the phone dying several times, tropical storms that knock the power out, to car trouble and forgotten family wedding...roflmao...wow...simply wow.

I had it all packed up and ready to ship back on 7/16 as per paypals request, I sent them a pick of the box saying they have until 4pm to refund or it's being picked up and shipped back. Refund was processed within an hour.

I know these guys just keep changing their name and scamming people over and over....On IG i was dealing with JJCarbonFiber, the shipping documents lists JJ Carbon Creations as the company, they are out of the Dominican Republic, It seems that they might be phasing off that account and starting with StarFactoryRD on IG nd they seem to be putting together a big cartel store. ...even tho they deny they are the same person

They're starting to sell on Ebay as well. I've seen several different accounts with their exact same products and IG pictures.

Edit: I checked out the StarFactoryRD IG page. They are definitely the same people as RusoGarage/ Javis Marte/ JJCarbon, etc. The white FD that's plastered all over their IG page belongs to a banned RX7Club member called M0bmanFD who said that he's a part of RusoGarage. He also had a build thread on here. Furthermore, a lot of their images are hashtagged with "JJCarbon" despite them saying that they have no association with JJCarbon.

There are still more falling for their selling techniques. StarFactoryRD and JJCarbonFiber don't really show up on google as a red flag. Might be best to put those names in the title of this thread as well.

Mobman tried to pull a fast one and buy some stuff from us a few months ago. Good thing I remembered his name.

Also once you see that they are located in Dom rep just pull out. Don't even consider buying from them. Stick to shine. Quality products, worth the wait and Ken always answers my emails

Happy New Years gentleman. What better way to start off 2019 than to remind people to avoid scams and shady business.

We were pointed to this video as we build stuff for the Lexus community as well. The review is on JJCarbonFiber. The video is pretty much on point. Avoid goods coming from the Dominican Republic / Puerto Rico as they are most likely the same circle of scammers trying to reinvent themselves with a new name.

These people can never go away, although I have never bought anything from them, I was contacted via DM on my Instagram account for Sleek Headlights. I told the price and was paid instantly via Paypal.
As soon as the person paid and I didn't reply instantly he sends me tons of messages. I'll attach few screenshots to this post.
Just stay away from these guys after I searched the buyer on facebook turned out it was Jhosua Ramos / Serrata Ramos Jhosuamel from JP Fiberglass. The payment was made by some guy named Luis Ruiz,

These people do not ship people their orders and even if they do it takes them months but they kept on messaging me daily for the order even though I told them before they paid that I need a minimum of 2 weeks to make and ship them out. Never have dealt with someone who has been this impatient.
