Update :
Got refunded by PayPal today . Rusogarage messaged me on Instagram last week saying the item was sent and they gave me a tracking number that eventually shipped to Chicago lol. They are just some scam artists. Don't waste your time just tell PayPal you got **** all from them and wait the ten days for the refund and purchase from Ken via Shine auto . They will basically give you the run around till you get frustrated and stop responding. Hope everyone else gets refunded

If you sent a box that will obviously not fit the part you purchased. The seller can contract paypal, show pictures of the box with the tracking number you provided and there will be a good chance that you will not receive your refund. Paypal protects both buyers and sellers from scams. why would you risk not getting anything at all? 20 percent loss is better than a 100 percent loss.
we will see what happens in the next few days as my tracking is telling me the parcel has gone to the UK instead of the Dominican republic.

Gentlemen. As some of you have already figured out, Ruso Garage is Javis Marte. It could be him and maybe some others, but he is definitely behind it. The reason Ruso Garage is trying to hide any association with the name Javis Marte is because Javis has been burning bridges with the Supra community for years. None of it is a "surprise" if you ask anyone in the Supra community. Sending false tracking numbers, delays, incomplete orders.... etc.
When they send you an incomplete order such as a diffuser missing mounting brackets, or if you ordered a center diverter and side generators only to find out it is not in the package, it puts the customer (you) in a tough spot in regards to filing a chargeback with paypal as he is still able to provide tracking proof. Many just forget about it, don't have time to deal with it and just get missing items from us. So what seems like a "cheap" price, isn't really cheap. And if they didn't price their stuff cheap enough, most would prefer to just buy from us. They need to advertise parts cheap to keep the cash flow coming in as they have alot of backlog to fulfill. It is almost as if he's running a Ponzi scheme. With starting Ruso Garage, I believe he tried to wipe his name clean and all the open sales orders they had with the Supra community. This is also all well-documented in the Supra Facebook groups. Both MKIII & MKIV Supra.

Javis started out building mostly MKIII Supra parts as I believe that is what he drives. He is more notorious in the MKIII Supra community. He's burned MANY and it seems he is more interested in a running a Ponzi scheme than an actual profitable business, hence the low advertised pricing.

Here is a post one of the Supra Facebook group organizers wrote sometime in May 2017. He has been banned since. These screen shots were spread around the community as a warning of what to expect if you are looking to purchase from Javis Marte and any company he might be associated with.
When he first started out, he showed alot of talent in his work. We actually encouraged him to keep doing what he was doing and I have email exchanges to prove it if anyone has doubts. However, he crossed alot of lines and burned alot of bridges. We sat sidelined while we knew he was burning the Supra community. The community just had to realize it for themselves instead of taking our word for it. The Rx7 community seems to be his current prime target. Many here have been burned by other companies (JKL, Aerofiber, etc...) in the past doing similar things. Hate to see it play through again.

doubtful, i'm pretty sure that these cars will wind up being a very small part of history and a much smaller niche group of fanatics than it was in the past as mazda and everyone else lets the rotary engine pass away.
the other issue is that people are working more and paid less as time goes forward, leaving even less room for expensive and time consuming eye candy that takes up large amounts of space in your garage and wallet.

These guys are now blaming the customers. They posted my personal info months ago to "defend" themselves against internet haters and now they're doing it again. They posted this guy's full name and address saying that he scammed them by sending back an empty box. They must not like the taste of their own medicine.
I edited the image so his info wouldn't show in case they take down the instagram post. It's bad enough that my personal information is out there because of these scammers. I don't want to do the same to someone else.

Doesn' bother me too much if he leaked my address because funny enough I've just moved house so I no longer live there anyways.
it also took me about 3 weeks of ringing PayPal 5 or more times to finally get my refund. Had to do some other procedures that I won' mention on here for my own sake. But funny enough that my parcel was left on 'attempted delivery' for about a week. And only just happens it was picked up after I got my refund. This is obviously not his first rodeo.
also entertaining to see that the only 2 responses to his recent post have been people saying they don't blame me at all and that customers are all getting scammed.
I'm not even going to bother commenting as it'l get deleted within the hour I expect

there's no reason to send a single item overseas when shipping, because splitting up a shipment is going to make the shipping costs more than the price of the products. it's a typical scam.
would be nice if we could fix the world but we cant as individuals without one another, and as time goes forward people tend to be more divided now than any time i have seen in my lifetime. even though most of my messages may seem intensely negative, they serve a very positive purpose, one that not everyone tends to actually see or care about.

In our 12 years of business, we've realized very early on it is best not to hold onto people's money for a long period. I would estimate no longer than 6-8 weeks. It puts customers in a tough position and paypal does have a dispute period as well. If you're gone past that dispute period, it will be impossible to get your funds back from a dishonest seller.
We do have long waiting periods for some items, if the period is significantly longer than 6-8 weeks, we don't even take funds. Perhaps a small fully refundable deposit in some cases, but that is about it. We do want to separate the serious buyers from the non-serious buyers in line, which is why a deposit is sometimes taken. Anyone who has dealt with us know they have not had to pay in full for an ETA than is longer than 8 weeks. We simply just add customers in line for the item.
If Rusogarage was confident in their business and delivery and weren't trying to run a semi-ponzi, I would recommend them to do the same. I highly doubt they'd do it. We don't always meet our ETAs. Sometimes we're a few weeks behind, sometimes we're a few weeks early. Mistakes in production can happen, but the key is not to hold on to a chunk of the customer's money while they're waiting.

I also think it's funny [read: sad] that this guy is calling people out on social media for being ''bad customers'.....yet, on both the Instagram post and the Facebook post, he has not responded to any of these posts where people are asking about their genuine issues with russogarage.
I can't stand these Facebook groups. And this is yet example of evidence that that platform is a dumpster fire for all types of car enthusiasts. It's a shame that has taken over for forums .

I think its also terrible that from the looks of things on instagram. There' still more new people buying from him.
when I first bought from him, I searched him up on Facebook and Google and didn't get any reviews or responses. But theres enough posts out there now, that the average Joe should be able to see he's a scammer

I just noticed the "Good/Bad Business" section only shows up if you sign on. I believe these should sections should be more open to the public if they happen to do a search on google. Not everyone has an Rx7club account.
This topic should probably be moved to the Bad & Fugly business for more exposure.
