MMR Trash

Well backing into my parking spot at work a 1/2" drop from pavement to dirt did this to my MMR Rear Camber Adjuster

if this is how all their parts do I'll never have business with them ever again

those are known to break right there due to huge amounts of stress being put on them from the travel of the rear arms. did you not research them before you purchased them?

I didn't buy them they came on the car

The 1/2 inch drop didn't do that. It just finished it.

MMR parts are very well made. The problem here is poor design rather than bad fabrication/materials. Note that there's not an easy solution since the AWR adjuster design is even worse (although it is beefier). That said, MMR should really stop selling this weak part. Feel free to design something better.

Are you using the MMR spherical bearing at the other pivot point of the rear arm?

The part manufactured by MMR did not fail, the rod end did. This could be because of several reasons, either an inexpensive part was used rather than an aerospace grade part, or simple wear and tear. Replace the rod end (under $40 for a real high strength one, cheaper ones are avaialble but thats your call) and there is no issue. Rod ends wear out and break, thats why they are not used and should not be used on street cars, and are inspected often and replaced as needed on race cars. MMR knows this but the part they sell is intended for race cars, not street cars, and it is up to the consumer to determine if they are willing to live with a part that may require more attention or frequent inspection such parts require.
