Newest AEM WI/WA Controller

My 3 year old controller only works on boost pressure with its own internal map sensor. Thus at a fixed boost, the flow rate is linear across the rpms even though fuel flow varies.

The new controller has 5 options:
(1) 0-5v MAP or MAF
(2) 3 different MAF frequencies
(3) injector duty cycle

Has anyone used this newer controller and how well does it work on duty cycle?

I would assume that running it off idc could be better than running it off boost pressure, if that's possible with your ecu? I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be possible with a old power fc.

Tom,

From what I read, you set 3 switches on the new unit for IDC, and then run the input/control wire to the ground side a secondary injector.

Next you set the upper and lower limit knobs to the IDC values you want just like the old unit.
