Meth injection for a RB26 Skyline

I know its not rotary, but this seems to be the only forum with a decent aux injection section with lots of knowedgeable people here.

So a customer of ours with an R32 GTR Skyline wants to get a Devils Own meth kit installed on his RB26. He has the stage 2 setup with the progressive controller and MAP sensor.

What I'm wondering is if would be safe to tap the nozzle into the GTR's plenum right where the intercooler pipe attaches to. Would the meth atomize enough to reach the #6 piston? Or would mounting the nozzle closer to the I/C be better for atomization.
Other option is to maybe put 2 nozzles in the plenum, one closest to the front and one near the rear so all cylinders get the same spray.

Whatdya think?

If you are worried about even distribution, run small nozzles tapped into each of the six manifold runners. Coolingmist sells a six-port manifold and all the way down to 50cc nozzles that should do the trick.

Joe, should also talk to Daniel. H'es running meth on his GTR.........

That is NOT the optimal position at all.... You would want it further down the intake track so as to have time to pull as much heat from the air as possible. Preferably right after the intercooler core (I'd run one before and after the IC but if you cant do both at least one right after).

I don't think you read my post. I recommended that specifically for even distribution. I use a setup more similar to what you are talking about to lower the ait. Mine is just post intercooler exit.

To OP, is he doing this to use it as a fuel, or to use to cool the intake charge?

Just to cool the intake charge. He wants to up the boost quite a bit on the stock turbo's and see if he can get close to 400whp on pump gas.

Like mentioned by the previous poster, put it well upstream of the intake then. Mine is just after the intercooler exit. My intercooler piping and intake will be cool to touch after long pulls with the meth spraying.

Yeah I think thats the best option, putting the nozzle in the outlet of the I/C.
