Hi there,

Can anyone help me with placing the tank in engine bay  I mean it is kind of tight under the hood. I have attatched a picture of what is it like under the hood. Thanks:icon_tup:

well you could make some space by moving the battery inside the car, but other than that, looks like your SOL.

I'm going to have to go with R-cien. Or you can just use the washerfluid tank.

I was trying to mount my tank and pump in the engine bay or along the fenders. I have a coolingmist 1 gallon (i think, i bought it so long ago i dunno for sure)

I gave up after trying to find a place and decided to go trunk mount. Strapped the tank inside the hatch, ran a line thru an "already there" hole in the floor on the pass. side, i then mounted my pump in front of the pass. rear wheel above one of the skidplates, ran the line straight across over the diff (leaving plenty of slack up top) and over to the stock fuel lines, then from there i ran it all the way to the engine bay.

It wound up a lot easier and a lot quicker then I thought it would be, plus with the tank in the hatch i can check fluid level easily.

As a small note about the washer fluid tank, i was going to do that as well, but I couldn't find a location to mount the pump. I remember reading somewhere (for the coolingmist kit at least) that the pump should be placed under the tank to prevent priming problems. I tried for a while to mount the pump somewhere easily under the washer tank but I couldn't find one, thats why i went with the trunk mount. The way it is now the tank is almost directly above the pump so I think I should be ok, the hose does have slight turns in it tho, thats the only thing im a bit worried about but i think it should be ok.

Going to try and get some pics tomorrow when im finishing my dual fuel pump setup installed.

Then its time to go to the dyno and lay down some big boost runs, hopefully join the 500rwhp on pump/meth club :)

kevin.

Thanks for the input guys. I really appreciate it.

trunkmount seems to be the best option right now. howard (the genius i must say) recommended trunkmount as well.

Kevin any updates on your setup/dyno etc?
