Alcohol Injection Nozzle selector

Alcohol Injection Nozzle size Caculator

This should give you an base idea what size nozzle you need with all the alcohol Injection kits out there. Even an DIY kit. This should be compatable with eveyones kit. Rember to take the pumps pressure into an account. The Gph listed is the volume of fluid needed. This is still kinda a beta on the figures so if anyone could give me feed back I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks for posting and welcome (Devilsown- AI Vendor) to our new AI site. we welcome all vendors especially if their primary interest is in moving the AI ball.

that said, i don't quite understand your calculator. we do have a thread going (AI Delivery) relating to deliverability, nozzle sizing.

generally for our motors water is around 300-400 cc/minute, a 50/50 mix of water/alcohol generally is in the 500 cc/minute range, but alcohol is different.

it simply depends on how much power you want to make w alcohol. unlike water, for example, as long as you pull base fuel (pump) out you can just keep raising the alcohol input.

for example i run two 630 cc/minute nozzles. someone else might be happy with a single 630 nozzle and we both will be able to tune up to our targets.

i used your calculator on my setup... 7800 rpm, 23 psi boost, 2.6 liter motor and ended up w 539 cc/minute.

perhaps that might be a good starting point for many but it doesn't really fit the typical 400 rwhp rotary at one bar on pump looking to run 20 psi... you'd need more alcohol.

at any rate, welcome to the site. we will be shortly compiling a list of vendors and their products and hope each system will be run by someone in our rotary community so we can ride the AI curve.

Thanks for the welcome, I am just trying to be helpful. Why I saat down and put this out for others to use. We had something just for us we been using for awhile, This does not take in account replacing fuel with meth/water injection. This is only for getting the assumed heat out of the air intake system.

Being 100's of engine makes and thousands of differnt combos, this software is pretty accurate. It does need an input for compresser effecy but imo many don't know the effecy of there compresser at the boost level they are running. So i pre filled it in with a value in the midddle. Just trying to keep it simple. But there is some room for improvment in it. That why i was hoping to get response for others like you. Thanks.

We do have a quite afew rx7 running our kit. We have a dealer mothers performance that does alot of rx7. Not sure if they are know on here. We have not local to us though.

But I will try to help with questions, I can't answer any about Our products but can about general questions about Alky/water injection.
