AEM Nozzle 90 degree adapter elbow

Was looking to keep my nozzle in a particular spot on my FD. Ended up needing a 90 if possible because the new AEM nozzles are just a bit longer.

Anyway. Found these guys that make an adapter elbow that allows mounting the nozzle directly in the pipe still, and keep the functionality of the check valve.

Chris Murphy@ 034Motorsport. He said if you guys wanted a few we could set up a group buy and he'd give us a break. I paid 11.98 for one.

Link to photo of said part.

This is a link to the kit I found the elbows in

Chris stated its best to contact through the website contact form or chrism@034motorsports.com

I'm not affiliated with these guys at all. Just thought someone might want or like the idea of these elbows. Purely trying to help the 7 community.

Or go to the hardware store and buy a 90 degree fitting.

It's definitely better looking than mine. Is there a performance difference being billet?

Hi Im Simon 03-10-17 03:47 PM

Just purchased one of these. I was kind of pissed that shipping on this item is $10 dollars when it's smaller than a quarter. What's worse is that I'm even in the same state. I called and they said that's the cost of shipping the item. This better come in a huge box that weighs 50 pounds.

Wow I wish I would've thought of that. Don't worry about the fact that AEM machines their own custom thread. Thus the need for this fitting. Keep in mind that one end is a standard NPT thread the other end that threads into the check valve assembly is NOT. Thats the custom cut part. So like this. The nozzles they supply have a STD NPT thread on one end and an F U AEM thread on the other. Yes you can ghetto it and just cram it on a "close" enough fitting. Just not the right way to do it IMO.

There are other routes you can go but if you want to use the AEM nozzle(s), and their check valve assembly this is the only option I found.

I work in a machine shop for side work. Yes I verified the AEM nozzles to be a custom thread pitch. Clever for them.

Shipping is ridiculous I know. And no they come in a little padded envelope and feel like they're made of foam. But. Gotta pay to play I guess. If you guys would like some pics of mine for clearance let me know. Its very low profile.
