Pushing 400rwhp on Bosch 044/E85?

Can it be done? Has anybody done it or is it simply to much vodka for the 044 to flow?

Reason why i prefer the 044 vs walbro 450 is that the walbro dont have threaded inlet/outlet, instead there is a plastic pipe thingy and overall quality feels better on the bosch.

I use a modified stock fuel pump hanger and i prefer to use AN-fittings and stainless braided PTFE hoses all the way from the fuelpump to the fuelrail and it seems impossible with the walbro or can it be modified?
I get the PTFE hoses and AN-fittings for basicly free and the also press the fittings for me and it feels safer for both me and the engine, i am also gonna register the car as a ethanol powered vehicle and the emissons testing guys require a certain standard on the hoses and fuel system.

Dual 044 seems like to much work and also money for 400rwhp e85 13b.

I think you could if you cranked up the base pressure to 60-70psi. It's a stretch on any single in tank pump at the 400rwhp point though.

I think the real question to ask is, do you expect to exceed 400rwhp? If so, you will need a second pump which will further complicate space constraints. I do still recommend the 044's, as they are some of the most robust and reliable electric pumps on the market.

i hope for 400 to the wheels... basicly the same setup as you have apart from i have a 13bt and ptrim ball bearing t04s 60-1 instead of rew and gtx35r, i also have a t04z coldside for my turbo if the 60-1 wont make it

If you aim for anything over 400rwhp, I would recommend a second pump. Both the Walbro and the Bosch 044 are very similar in flow at the higher pressures and I would pick a Bosch every time as I've had and seen several failures with Walbro pumps but not one Bosch pump failure.

i run a holley dominator pump in tank. supports like 1200hp and cost me less than $350

its a dual pump

did u manage to fit it inside a stock fc3s tank (modded hanger)?

Raising the base pressure would only help if your running out of injector. Lowering the base pressure would give you more pump. A 044 should be good for around 500whp on E85. If you want to use just 1 a boost a pump would definitely give you a little more head room.

Howard posted on pumps and E85. Hopefully he chimes in.

I had 400 last time on the dyno and my wastegate wasnt holding so we had to call it quits, i replaced the diaphragm but haven't gotten back since.
I also used to stock fc hanger, plenty of people have. i have a jays fuel sock on the pump as well

I always heard 500 limit on e85 with an 044
