What kind of plugs ya'll runnin?
Me=NGK Rotary Pro Racing Plugs... 11's
Went out to the track last night and the car ran like crap. Changed the plugs and it was a new car!
Seems like these foul easy to me. Maybe to cold? I'm running 30 PSI.

Any details of ignition system?

Alcohol fuels have two requirements which go against each other. Lower peak temperatures would call for hotter range, but pre-ignition tendencies call for colder range.

I run ngk race 10.5, no issues so far. Stock ignition + twin power at 24 psi.

yeah... I use the NGK's for street, which is a no-no.
They foul super easy and I can attest to that.
I am running IGN coils and direct fire. Should light what I'm shoving in there.
I think I will tune my car down for the street and run 9's in it. When it goes to the track, I will put the 11's in there. Yeah, they are expensive, but I have 3 sets of them that I alternate in and out. Clean them with a sand blaster type plug cleaner.
Wish there was a cheap source for these plugs because I know for a fact, they don't cost any more to produce than any other plug.
Cheapest I have found is RX7.com and they are $28.50 each.

Over the years i have had zero luck with cleaning plugs with a sandblaster, used one of those little spark plug cleaning ones, little pro blaster- no luck on rotaries at all.

Always interested. I was attempting to use ngk race7420? 10.5. But had.other issues and didn't get anywhere. I was going to.try 9's for leading and ngk race 10.5 for trail in on 15 psi e-85. Or would 9's all around turn out better.

I've run the 10.5 and 11s in daily street cars with the IGN coils with no issues. If you're fouling plug your mixtures are most likely too rich or you have other issues.

I run 11.5's on all 4 plugs with an M&W ignition using Honda CBR600 coil on plug coils. Have 2500 miles on these so far with zero fouling issues on E85. AFR on tune was 11.5.

Full bridge 2 rotor, 2 ID2000's primary, 4 1680 secondaries, 3 Bosch 044 pumps in tank, 26 pounds of boost making 810 RWHP.

All 2500 miles have been on the street. I drive it 2-3 times a week to cruise, get groceries, idle on the freeway during rush hour traffic for 1-2 hours sometimes on the way home in 100 degree plus days, etc.

Car runs amazing, starts right up (maybe 1-1.5 revolutions) on cold or hot starts.

I would like to see yer map! My car won't start for shit. Takes 2 times of cranking it. I think you are right Chris! 1st thru 3rd my AFR's are all over the place. In 2nd gear at 25 PSI and 7000 RPM they might be 12:1. In 3rd gear, with the same numbers they jump up to 10:1! My injectors are maxing out also.
I'm going to set it on a dyno and actually tune it for a couple of hours. This is something that has never been done.

For those with extreme needs, here’s your plug. These are the exact same plugs we use on our championship drag race cars. Nothing has a more intense and focused spark. The thin single wire electrodes are gap adjustable for tunability. One very important fact: these plugs do have an internal resistor. This is a must for modern EFI cars since RF interference can cause major issues with you engine management. Accept no substitutes.

Note: These plugs are only needed in high horsepower racing applications. They foul easily when used in street or everyday use.

lower gears will always be slightly richer but it shouldn't be that large of a discrepancy. if the boost your ECU is seeing is bouncing around a bit you can try using an orifice in the line or move the line further upstream in the manifold to smooth out the signal. could also be a cheap wastegate fluctuating boost rapidly/fluttering.

What ECU are you running? I'm running a Motec. I'll get the laptop and pull the map.

Yup! Been doing it for over 2 years on the same stock studded engine which I built myself!

I had a tuner come to Boise a few years ago and he blew up my engine.
Ever since then, I decided I could blow up my engines on my own!
Luckily, I haven't!
The engine I have now was totally built by me. The last time it blew (back cracked iron), I decided I knew enough to build a STRONG rotary engine, and I was right! This engine has been through a lot! 25 PSI @ 13.7:1 AFR's without a single hickup!
Been doing this shit for 15 years now, and I dont know much, but I know a lot!

My dream is to build a car that is faster than any 13B in the world. If I knew how to weld really good, I think I could get close!

actually not, PR is part of USA.. They use the same dollar like we do here, in other words the same way you live here is the same way they live there. Only difference is life is more simple over there, more relaxed more time, less bills ect..

until how you watch them street race. their 2 lane roads are like 1.5 lanes in the continental US with no shoulder.

the aussies just find a patch of dirt, lay down some asphalt and call it a dragway. just watch out for the rabbits..
