Fuel pressure

Anyone have issues with dirt/rust in there tank clogging your fuel pump sock and fuel filter and making ur engine run really lean in boost? I took my car out the othere day and got in to boost and it was running lean and braking up. And i opened the hood an fuel pressure was a little low at idle. So I checked my fuel pump sock and fuel filter and both we're caked in rusty sludge shit from the tank so I cleaned all that shit out fired the car up and fuel pressure went back to normal at idle. Took it out and as soon as I got in to boost it ran really lean again. Opened the hood fuel pressure is a little low again and fuel pressure drops as I free rev the engine. So I checked everything again and the fuel pump sock wasn't really that dirty but the fuel filter was starting to sludge up again so I cleaned it again. And I cleaned all the loose dirt and rusty shit out of the sump area. Took the car out same thing fuel fuel pressure dropped a little and drops more as I free rev. been running e85 in it?? the lake barrier inside the tank has been broken up and emulsified and the pump is dragging 25 yrs worth of rubble through

suggest a professional full tank clean

or a can of "fuel set" additive ( and a quick succession of filter changes )

and or parallel setup for the fuel filters

This is definitely a problem but I believe it can be avoided. Before going E85 3 years back I did research on switching to E85. Not rotary related experiences but enthusiasts with highly modified cars switching from pump/race gas to E85. The consensus was:

I have had great luck so far. The car has sat once the past year for over 3 months on the same tank of E85 and twice for over a month the past 3 years on the same tank with no issues at all.

We'll I feel like it might be about time for a fuel cell.

Does that sound like it's defiantly my fuel pressure problem though?
