Fuel line diameter
Im mounting a dual pump in tank, and going to run -8 feed and return. I Have -6 lines and rails from the firewall forward. Can I reduce the feed and return to the rails and FPR?
Im on a to4e t4 turbo at 10psi, E-85, id1000x4. Only maybe 300hp although it feels incredibly fast for what it is. Upon startup I would need to maybe lower the pressure but im not sure just yet |
Why 2 pumps for 300hp? Are there big plans in the future? Single o44 will bring you well into 400-500 hp range. You could install one now and the second when you need it.

yea big plans later, new mani and larger turbo. its a holley dominator rated at like 1400 hp with -10AN ends. I can boost 20psi, when I get -8 on the rails and fpr, and hit about 400hp.

so to make it clear, for my current setup, i am asking if I can run -8 fuel line then reduce it at the rails and FPR to-6 line, back to -8 for return.

You will be fine with -6 lines. |
I was under the impression that since the e85 needs so much more fuel, wouldn't you need bigger fuel lines? For example to make 400whp, your adding enough e85 that would be equivalent to a gasoline engine making 500whp.

yes more volume couldnt hurt. i went with -8AN feed and return, then at the rails its all -6AN, the return off the regulator is -8AN
the holley dominator pump i have flows 170 gallons per hour so im set for the 350 or so horsepower |
