Is this enough fuel to support 450+whp on E85

Dual supra tt intake pumps and 4 1680cc injectors.
This is on 1/2 bridge gt3574 w/.96 exhaust a/r.

Also, where can I get a primary rail for top feed 1680cc injectors? I link would be great.

That may be good for just shy for 550 if every thing is set up right and there are no bottle necks. If you run out of fuel and want more you will need the ground zero manifold and run 6 of them. Thats if you want to keep your injector duties at a good percentage.

KGparts sells the top feed primary rail if you need one. http://www.kgparts.com/

Thanks for the link. I didn't know 4x 1680's would go that far with the extra fuel needed for E85. I know a top notch tune is the difference between a smooth idle and sputtering rotary. But how many people have been able to acheive that "perfect" idle with 1680's ?

If anything the limiting factor on my setup would be the small turbo. I'll probably be picking up the fjo injector driver box.

Id like to see 500hp to the wheels but I won't complian if I can at least hit 450

it is not as hard as you would think...

Also, will the stock fuel Lines work or is something bigger needed?

gusfd3s 01-15-09 02:14 PM

we were able to push 479rwhp on 2x850 + 2x1680 on stock fuel lines and a 280l/h sard pump.

Gus, thanks for your input. What turbo was that on and what were the idj's? If I can squeez 450+ out of my 850/1680 setup while keeping my idj at or under 85% I may just work with what I have.

fuel was maxed out, you will need more fuel to stay under 85%. this was on a t78.

Damn, I guess I will have to go with 4x 1680s and another pump.

You have more than enough for 450 hp with that set up. You only need to flow around 45 lb/min of air to get 450 hp... Your turbo can support up to 60 lb/min at around 25 psi.

Anyway, you will not run out of injector. 450 hp you're at 48% duty cycle.

You will run out of turbo when it maxes out at 60 lbs/min. The maximum you can get with your setup is around 597hp at 7000 rpm.

4x1600s on E85 will hit 82% duty at 8500 rpm. That's 678 hp on a half bridgeport.

^^^ I CALCULATED FOR E15.

According to my calculations, E85 will not get you 450 hp with 4x1600cc! You will hit 80% duty cycle at 5000 rpm, giving you 400 hp only.

Maybe my calculations are wrong, but I can't figure out why!

ProjectD 04-25-09 01:41 PM

450WHP+ has been done on 4x1680cc. Though 500 may be pushing it I don't think my setup will have a problem pushing past 450whp. I'll deffinatley post the resuts when I have it dialed in. Currently waiting on my cleaned injectors and some anodized parts.

I just redid all the calculations factoring in the lambda for stoich E85. It may seem ridiculous but 4x1600cc can give 805 hp at 83% injector duty????????

This cannot be right.
