E85 timing for 25+ psi

Hello All,

I'm finalizing my tune on my car and wanted to get some input on what kind of timing values everyone is running. I plan on testing these numbers by about 2* differences in real time but need to get a reference for what is normal and what is considered aggressive/conservative.

My setup consists of:
GTX4294R turbo @ 22-28 psi (low boost 22, high boost 28)
Large streetport motor (Large intake port similar to Pineapple large, Pineapple EP5A exhaust port)
IGN-1A directfire coils
AEM S1

Ideally, one could share a screenshot of your leading and split maps for reference.

Thanks,
Aaron

Every engine is different. You need to be on a dyno for this. Watch power output, spool difference and EGTs to determine the best timing. Some engines it makes zero difference plus or minus 5 degrees on E85.

This has been my experience on E85. Aggressive timing had shown little power gain but can lead to knock while conservative timing and leaner A/F shows big gains and seems to be safer.

Thanks for the input guys, I think I'm still in the safe range at the moment but I'll keep testing it further with different settings.
