S4/s5 Aem ems?

So I know this has been said before and I know about the banzai PFC adaptor for the fd ems, what my question is I want to run an s5 drivetrain and s5 ecu and harness in a s4 and run the ems, how will I go about doing that, will it work? S4 or s5 PFC adaptor? What to do about s4 dash harness?

If you're setting all the electronics up like an s5 (s5 emissions harness, TPS, etc), then use the s5 adapter. As for the dash harness and other stuff like that, do some searches in the 2nd gen technical section and read the FAQ there.

I think I might blow it off and just do a s4 6 port turbo project instead and leave s4 w/ s4...

You do not use the S5 ECU when installing an AEM or PFC. Like I already told you via email, keep all the harnesses S4, the S5 engine does not care that you are using an S4 harness, unless you are planning on running emmisions. The biggest issue is the OMP, but even AEM says you are better off premixing with their system.

Why do they recommend running premixed with there system? I'm trying to wrap my head around the advantage of disabling the omp and running premixed... I am gonna do the s4 6 port but I'd still like to run Aem ems

I suspect that AEM didn't do much testing of their OMP control so they are just covering their ass. If you have an s4 then the ECU is not controlling the OMP anyway.

So if I were to do this s4 6 port turbo set up I could still use the s4 PFC adapter and fd ems?

If you have s4 wiring then you can use the s4 adapter and an FD AEM EMS.

So the s4 n/a wiring harness is the same as the s4 TII wiring harness...
