No Rev Limiter, No Control over Decel Fuel Cut, No O2 Feedback...
 
So finally got my car tuned with this AEM V1 box. Timing and fuel curves work perfect. However, the car will not rev limit. Even if I set the rev limit to 4,000rpm or any settings, none of the settings affect the car.

Additionally, If I turn off decel fuel cut, it still cuts fuel....

Anti-lag and 2 step settings do absolutely nothing as well


Anyone have an idea of what might be going on here?

You need to press the [Enter] key after changing the numbers in any of the option boxes, or the changes won't get sent to the ECU. Most people who are already familiar with the AEMPro software will do this correctly without thinking about it, but if you're new to the software it can definitely throw you for a loop.

Hahaha, I swear I had to have tried pressing enter!

Ill plug up the laptop and double check

I know for certain the limiter is set at 8200, yet I hear no beep and the car revs to 9k

I'm pretty sure the beep sound at high RPM is an independent circuit inside the gauge cluster, not something controlled by the ECU.

There are some obscure settings that could prevent the rev limiter from slowing the engine down properly if they aren't configured correctly.I forget the exact names but they might be 'Fuel Cut C' , 'Fuel Cut M', 'Ign Cut C' , and 'Ign Cut M'... they get adjusted when you use the rev limit wizard to change the fuel or spark cut feel between softest cut / medium cut / hardest cut levels.

Resolved the REV limiter issue, turns out it was simply hitting the enter button and also setting up the correct parameters after finishing the wizard. Running a 150rpm hysterisis with ignition retard at 7750rpm and ignition cut at 8000rpm. Sounds like a machine gun when I hit the limiter :)


However, I cannot resolve the DCFO issue. I have turned it off, raised the

"Fuel OFF Above RPM" to 9,000rpm
"Fuel Off Below TPS" to 0%

and Fuel off Below MAP to lowest possible vaccuum level


Car is STILL Cutting fuel off throttle. I'm sick of this as it causes bucking on/off throttle in certain conditions and the car is not a DD.

Any ideas on how to get this feature turned OFF for good? Am I missing a setting?

hmm...

Maybe I need to raise the "Fuel Cut @ Min Temp" from 32F to 300F etc? I think this could be the last variable enabling the fuel cut
