AEM Infinity 6

Anyone using the New AEM Infinity 6 on a 13b ?

On paper it looks like a feature packed ecu for the price.

I have an 8h in hand that I just got the other day. AEM says that rotary support is not ready and should be out this summer. I am planning on making a pnp kit for the infinity 6 into a FD. For the price the infinity line is way far ahead of other ecus in the market. I posted a lot of info on the Infinity boost control strategies and flex fuel control a while back. I may do more like it when the pnp kit becomes available.

I'm definitely interested in an update as well. I've talked to a AEM tuner that says rotary support is now available and he is in the process of using some of this functionality with the infinity an older Porsche.

I've been told by AEM employees that rotary support for the Infinity-6 is in the works, but not released yet.

AEM released Infinity support last week. Those who are interested let me know and I can let you know of your options and availability.

Glad to see the patch harness working for you. I am really suprised to see your final numbers. Those are very impressive.

Thanks again EB. The quality of the harness was off the charts! Very impressive and made moving to the Infinity so much easier. I'm very happy with how everything turned out.

Everyone was floored at what we were able to get out of the car. Unbelievable! We have the Mode switch set for Gear vs. Boost. Looking forward to playing around with it. The windowing of the front and rear knock sensors seems to be working well although there is virtually no knock at all. Got to love E85!

But everyone says those coils won't light methanol at high boost. Nice work! Was wondering what was going on with you and all the parts you've been off loading. Can't wait to see track results.

I will say we did experience this some what. At 30+ psi we had to lean it out a bit, right at 11.8 12 to 1 gas equivalent AFR. Anything richer and it just would not ignite. Very strange. Good thing is the car loved it. Everything got better and cleaner. Monitored knock like crazy and there was nothing to worry about. Power got significantly better as well. Ethonal % was right ar 80%.
