Boost Control Solenoid for AEM EMS

Besides the AEM Boost Control Solenoid, is there a particular Boost Control Solenoid that works well with the AEM EMS? Also, please feel free to share your experiences with Boost Control Solenoids that aren't recommended with the AEM EMS...

Thanks,
Scott

I have successfully been using a GM boost control solenoid. It is what AEM was recommending before they came out with their own solenoid. Simple and CHEAP!

1997152 -- Boost Solenoid for $14.02
12102747 -- Wire pigtail for $13.95 (This comes up as a radiator tank cap in the description, but it is the correct p/n)

You can try the Haltech one, it is a lot cheaper and is the same solenoid as the AEM

Thanks for the recommendation

Hey guys - thanks for the response. I'll certainly look into both of those options... How do you like working with the integrated boost controller found in the AEM EMS?

Is awesome, in my opinion once you get the hang of it it will work better than any boost controler in the market , you can do boost by gear for traction control and have a switch for high and low setting and ofcourse boost by RPM.

I'm with Siverturbo, having the boost control integrated into the EMS is great. There are so many options if you are an expert, or you can make it very basic if you are a newbie. It works just as good as any other boost controller that I have ever had only with tons more options.

The Haltech is a good deal, I've used the GM (Grand National) as well with AEM.
PM me if you want to try a haltech.
