AEM Auto Tune Feature?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone used that feature yet ? and how well does it work...If it works good i will definately buy a wideband and aem...thanks

With the wideband it works very well. I personally find it faster to tune myself on the dyno, but for a guy tuning on the street, it's tuff to beat.

I find it tough to believe that the supposed auto-tune feature would have more value on the street than on the dyno. Please explain? It would seem to me that you'd want such a 'feature' when tuning on the dyno, as it might stand to drasticly reduce the amount of time you'd be spending on the rollers, thus saving you money on dyno rental time.

Please expound on the issue. I'm very curious to hear/read what you have to say.

Thanks,

BK

With the autotuning on, you need to hit each site, it does the changes for you, but it doesn't necessarily do them faster. When I tune on the dyno, I tune light load, then full load, and interpolate the in-between. It usually takes about an hour or so.
