what model for jspec?
 

I've got a jspec '96 rz with the series 7 16bit ecu.

From what I understand the s6/7 adaptronic is for the series 6 connector as Australia's s7 didn't get the 16bit ecu?

Am I able to use the s8 adaptronic plug and play on my s7 jspec car?

Really don't want to have to wire in a harness.

You need the series 8. Its actually series7/8 box.

Also, how drivable is the stock map. My car is completely stock excluding a cat back exhaust.

The basemaps are made to be conservative, but we still recommend for it to be checked and tuned before driving out. So it's really handy to have a wideband lambda sensor at the start to check the mixtures, and a timing light to verify the base timing.
