I personally would like to be able to select what data I would like to see and also have the option to see a graphical representation. IE love having an A/F ratio beside my fuel table like haltech has.

looks good. just downloaded it but car is taken apart right now. will try this out soon.

couldn't figure out how to drop the .zip from the file name on the android so what I did was download it to my computer, renamed it, and then emailed it to my tab.

(Show or hide file name extensions - Windows Help if you don't know how to change file names in windows)

Another feature that would be nice is when you switch to any of the correction maps IE coolant etc that it would highlight the spot the car is currently in.

Thanks for highlighting this.

I had a quick look and it may be very useful for my RX8 13B REW conversion where I'm weighing up whether or not to upgrade the Apexi PFC for an Adaptronic in order to get the stability control working. My car has the Mazda sat nav and many people over here in the UK have fitted a Nexus tablet in the hood, so getting the app and displaying data such as EGTs will probably save me some money.

I can't say much more as I'm still in the relatively early stage of assessing the RX8 PNP Adaptronic for a 13B REW swap. It isn't quite a straightforward fit and, whilst several people have done it, I've not been able to find a how-to write-up.

Im working on an FD swap into my RX8 right now and have an adaptronic Im going to be using with the factory computer. I've been documenting the build being done at CLR Motorsports for some time now. Our build is designed around maintaining all the RX8's features including the fly by wire throttle, the factory A/C, the electric OMP, Stability control, with a single turbo bolted to a custom CLR exhaust manifold with front mount aluminum radiator and IC mounted in front of engine with its own ducting from the lower part of front bumper. We are able to use the RX8 front cover we modified with a custom counter-weight balanced to the engine which has s4 low compression rotors that have been clearanced, balanced and have 3 mm apex seals, street porting, cooling mods to the housings, etc. . This motor is fully built and can be dialed up to over 600 HP on E85, but planning to keep it civilized at around 400 HP on pump gas.

We hope to have a kit available soon which will consist of the following custom made parts:

1. Engine mount.
2. Turbo Exhaust Manifold.
3. Modified Front Cover.
4. A/C bracket.
5. Modified oil pedestal.
6. Balanced counter-weight
7. Oil Pan Brace for matching FD oil pan to RX8 Front cover
8. All necessary hardware, flanges, braces, brackets to complete the swap.

If you watch the videos you can see the complete start to finish process of doing the sway and all the obstacles we encountered and dealt with along the way. The kit should make the swap process a simple plug and play solution.

rmvpa1, we're getting off the thread here, so we may need to start a new one. I found your video 11 very interesting and worth watching (I don't have the time for the other 10+ videos of 20+ minutes) as I'm doing my own 'blue sky thinking' on the radiator and intercooler, coming from a different angle to you as I have no experience on cars but a great deal of theoretical knowledge on aircraft and missile aerodynamics. I almost went for your design but ended up having my intercooler where your radiator is, ducting through the bonnet, and the radiator angled forward at 40 degrees, with part of the exhaust ducted out the bonnet and part over the engine and turbo; I retain the collapsible crash pillars with a new bar whereas you have taken them off.

I'm very interested in seeing your final design, including ducting, and how it works out in practice.
