S4 halfbridge turbo basemap
Can anyone help me out with a basemap for my car? I took a shot a setting it up myself but couldnt get it running or keeping it running without constantly tapping the throttle.
I just need something good enough to break my motor in out of boost before bringing the car to my tuner
setup:
modular s4 pnp ecu
tii 4 port half bridge
9.0 rotors
Id1050x injectors
45 psi base pressure
93 octane
stock coils
factory cas
Fast acting temp sensor
maf delete
innovate lc1 wideband
Thanks in advance

Hi Robert,
I looked over your basemap and for a basemap its decent – I do believe I found your problem though! You have the Lean-Out Margin safety cut activated and it was calibrated to be too sensitive – It had a margin of only 1.5 A/F value off from the target with a 0.000 MS delay detection which was causing the engine to shut off unless you forced it by keeping your foot on it.
Can you please try this revised map –
Make sure you have calibrated your TPS for 0% and 100%
Also once you have the car started please confirm timing on all 4 coils before proceeding. – The timing lock is located in the inputs tab under triggering – Lock the timing at Rx7 Rotary which if you have the OEM pulley you will put your timing light on the front rotor Leading coil to start with and it will line up with the 5 ATDC mark that is on the pulley.
After that you can confirm that T1 moves to 20 ATDC
L2 will have the mark 180 degrees out from the L1 essentially if you look at your pulley from underneath the car you will see the Mark when the timing is locked.
T2 will move 15 degrees over from L2 when you switch the leads over.
