FX fluctuations

Given the prolonged USD/AUD weakening, why haven’t we seen the prices of Adaptronic ECUs come down; and should we expect to see an adjustment in the near future? If it were the other was around I'm assuming the price would be adjusted rather quickly (feel free to point out if my assumption is flawed).

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

I have joined Adaptronic for almost two years now. But I was told that we've used the same set of pricing for about 5 years now, even when the AUD has been valued at about $1.05 USD.

Thanks.

Are you serious mate? The ecus have been cheaper in the US (taking into account exchange rates) than they are here in Aus where Andy started Adaptronic the entire time they have had an official US retail price. Ask turblown, he has been selling product back into aus, having it mailed out from Adaptronic in Aus, your retailers are effectively allowed to undercut Australian dealers. You have been getting better deals than us the whole time. As per above, they try to stick to a selected price point in a market and not move unless they really have to.

 :(
