Adaptronic - Wari minimum pc requirements?

I have a few old laptops and an older netbook. Just curious if any of them will reliably run Wari with logging...so what are the minimum system reqiurements?

Windows XP, 1024 x 600 screen resolution. That's what I use on my $350 netbook. It has an Atom at 1.66 GHz and 1 GB of RAM but you could probably get away with less.

Cheers!

Thanks, I actually have an old netbook with the same specs except 2gb ram running windows 7. Might throw XP back on it or some version of Ubuntu.

WARI is Windows only - it should be OK with 7 :)

Cheers!

I have been playing with WARI on one of my linux machines for the past couple of days using WINE. WINE is a way to run x86 Windows programs in linux. Originally it was just a Windows emulator, but now it runs everything "natively". In case you aren't a linux guy, you can read a bit more about it here....WineHQ - About Wine.

I think I'm going to install an SSD in the netbook and make two partitions...one for Windows 7 and one to try out several different lightweight linux distributions to see what works the fastest.

I just installed WARI on my 10.1" 1024x600 netbook and I can't see the last 3 rows of the fuel table with the 600 pixel height. I can scale up the bottom part of the window to see these rows, but when I return to the top row and go back down I can't see them again without rescaling it again.

How are you getting around this?

It automatically scrolls when you click in it and move the arrow keys; and otherwise you can grab the dividing line between the graphic and the text maps and drag it upwards.

Cheers!
