Yet another BOOST PROBLEM POST
Ok
This is my situation 1st can only get boost up to 5-6psi 2nd can only get boost up to 5-6psi 3rd can get full 10-12psi 4th can get full 10-12psi 5th can get full 10-12psi Now with that problem listed above, can this be narrowed down to something specific? |
Most likely, the Turbo Control Actuator and its associated solenoids.

The components are on the bottom of that picture labeled "Turbo Control". The solenoids are located under the UIM, one bolted to the ACV and the other on the solenoid rack. You can see there locations using the vacuum diagram:

You don't need to remove the turbos for these checks. Start with the KOKO test described here:
http://www.fd3s.net/boost_test.html That will at least let you know if the mechanism is working properly. If its not, then you need to test each component individually to see which one may be faulty. |

Looked at this website couldnt find any code for 16..?? Ok seems like this is the EGR vavlve that is causing problem. Is the EGR valve necessary to keep in the car?> |
Ok as far as engine light codes i got 17 as well as 16...
17 Feedback system for O2 sensor where is this located on the car? and can this be fixed/disabled too? |
i have the same problem.. some one told me that the turbos going bad... but i believe its the thing mahjik

My secondary seems to run fine.. get 10-12 psi out of that baby 3rd gear to 5th... |
no my primary is good my secondary seem to not want to boost 100% in first second and third but in third it clears up at higher rpms
