xs engineering intercooler

I was looking to buy the greddy ft mt intercooler, but I am turned off it due to the extensive labour to install it.

Does anyone have the XS engineering Intercooler kit. How labour intensive was it to install? Lots of cutting??

Also does anyone have pictures of this set up, outside of the car and the engine compartment? Does it fill up the whole nose like the greddy one?

Thanks in advance

Are you talking about the xs FMIC kit for the FD that uses the apex GTR core? Then if it is, thats the one that I have. You have to remove the front bumper brace in order to put it in. It fills up my front bumper. It is similar to the rx7fashion FMIC but the xs FMIC has better end tanks. Take a look at rotaryextreme.com. oh btw thats not my car. But to give you an idea of how mine looks.:)

That XS intercooler is not produced anymore. They cut production on it a couple months back. I have been talking to them about doing a limited run of that intercooler. Im sure if we get enough people that want it I can get a good price on them.

I have the XS front mount and I love it. If you can get your hands on one you should definately get one. I've been comparing it to others for about four years now and I haven't been able to find a better all around I.C. It has a huge core and the weld work on it is fantastic. www.efiniracing.importracer.org
