X-14 question. is this a jumper harness?
While looking at the schematic for X-14 in the manual PDF, the male side of my X-14 (jumper harness?) looks to be the AT setup and the female side side seems to be MT setup. The wiring on the female side seems to be right except where a white wire should be there is black/blue and where black/red should be it is black/yellow. it is also missing a blue wire that should be between black/red and green/yellow.
here is a pic for reference: http://dave.cfbinc.com/wiring.jpg http://dave.cfbinc.com/wiring2.jpg The male (AT side) of the plug is wired completely differently. I've read I need to retain this for the swap but this harness is hacked pretty good and wires were jumpered into another harness w/ wire taps etc.. I would appreciate any help I could get on what this harness is I have. it says "emssions" in the manual .thanks dave |

Dave,
Search my name for the conversion wiring from AT to MT (about 2003 timeframe). The engine harness that comes in with an automatic is a large blue and large white. This might be the white one. Not sure if it is X-14 right off hand. Some wire colors may be different due to differences in years or harnesses. Tim McCreary |
