Wtb Rx7 For 10.5k-12.5k? WILL IT BE RELIABLE IF REBUILT??
 
hey guys im new and curiouse about the reliability of an rx7, if lets say i bought one with 100k on chassis and lets say less than 15k on motor and turbos, and new 5th gear syncro, should i have anything to worry about?? or should i find one with about 70-80k miles with and original motor?? help me out guys

if its rebuilt correctly, w/ most if not all the reliability mods...it will probably be more reliable...then say...a dsm.

80k w original engine will need a rebuild before you know it

If you are buying a used rx7 do not make any assumptions about it being reliable, it's a 10+ year old car that has a long list of liabilities. Before you buy either be confident in your mechanical abilities to fix the car yourself or be sure you have a local wrench/tuner type to keep you on the road. Also helps if this is not your only car.
