wrap catback?

would wrapping the pipe between the cat and catback do anything? or would it be pointless?

If you wrap the exhaust from downpipe on down, I would think there would be less resonation in the cabin. The exit temp from the muffler would be higher (less heat escaping from piping, and also maybe slightly less heat in the cabin). I don't think it would be that beneficial, but I'm far from an expert.

Not much benefit because the midpipe is already out of the engine bay and cools faster due to this. The big reason for people wrapping downpipes is because an unwrapped pipe lets lots of heat escape into the engine bay and lots of heat is bad for our engines. The midpipe and catback are in considerably cooler parts of the car and don't need this.

No benefit. Don't bother.
