would this damage my FD???
Well its like this, I thought I flooded my car so once it finally got started I still noticed the idle was real ruff!
So I drove it around a bit then later realised the FPS vacume line had fallen off the UIM! Would I have caused any harm to my engine driving it without the FPS plugged in???? |
are you guys tryin to tell me you dont know?????
Your engine is fine.
Are you still using stock vacuum lines? If so I'm not suprised it came off. When I was replacing some of mine, the two leading in the vacuum chamber came right off (wow I thought) but the new ones take quite some effort to come off. So if you haven't yet, replace as many of the stock lines as possible - and besides, it's fun to work and it can make your eng. look cool.
Plug everything back up the right way and you're good to go.
sounds like a blowm motor to me
If you didn't boost your engine while the vacuum line was disconnected, then your engine is fine. You only slightly flooded it.
Your fine, plug it back up and run it.
well how does it drive now
Irish, that shit ain't funny. Way too many of us have either actually been there or really worried that was the case.
I agree with irish....formerporscheguy I like your new avatar!
