Window switch mod? (One touch)

Searched and really couldn't find much on this. I have heard of the 94's having a one touch mod. (window goes down instead of a hold). What exactly do I have to install to make it work?

just replace your 93 switch with the 94+ switch

No extra wires, fuses etc? I like that!

And the JDM 92's have the switch also. ;)

My 94's driver's side window switch gets stuck down when I press it -- its always one touch! :p:

I just replaced my 93 one with a 94 from Ray Malloy Mazda. Works great, no need to rewire or anything else, just replace.

How much was it from ray jw?

Sorry, $141.16 call him at 1-888 533 3400

someone talented needs to figure out how to DIY modify the 93-->one touch, like playing around with the switch internals. $144 is pretty pricey

DriftDreamzSS Feb 3, 2008 03:22 PM

Ya, a diy re-wire would be great. I would love one touch but not for $144

fd3rew Feb 3, 2008 11:41 PM

if you are good with schematics and can wire up some relays, you can probably wire everything up for $10-15.

the reference to "polyswich" is a resetable fuse, you can pick them up in the autostore.

the only problem with the DIY method is that the one touch will automatically latch the system and your window will go all the way down everytime you push the down button unless you break the latching mechanism by pushing/pulling the up button.
