all of the following are touching the radiator hose: the primary turbo intake, the boost controller and the coupler. will all of theses be ok or will i somehow have to seperate them or put something between them? im mainly worried about the boost controller. would it be wise to move it?

Is that the greddy boost control solenoid? If it is, I would move it away from direct contact with the rad hose. Try and Find some place that is cooler for it. Other wise you should be fine with the placement ofeverything else, other than the fact that those filters are shit.

Yah, unfortunately, he's right. Those filters have been known to suck up and suck in anything and everything.

Foam filters are fine, they just require oil to stop smaller particles. Amsoil and several others use foam based filters today and they surpass many of the non-foam based filters. The key is making sure to either used a pre-oiled filters or oil them yourself prior to installation.

Is that a Greddy FMIC? Those interfere with almost everything.

Definitely find another spot with cooler air for the boost control solenoid.

Try and lower the radiator a little to try and gain some space and reduce interference. If you can't do that, then do keep an eye on things. Everything expands a bit when it gets hot.

if i increase the distance between the solenoid and the wastegate actuator could that delay the solenoid response at all?

and i cant move the radiator any farther down. its already touching the undertray

Your filters are fine, I have ran HKS Filters forever and never had an issue with it, I even run mine dry with no oil..

Now if you plan to offroad the vehicle or if you live in a very dusty area then I would advise you not to use it.

The OEM radiator hose has a protective sleeve on it. If you still have it and can't move the intake or coupler, you could cut out small thin sections and strategically place them around your silicone hose. Maybe just use a thinly sliced section of the old OEM hose itself. If needed, keep them in place with a little silicone caulk. Admittedly it wouldn't be as pretty, but the constant rubbing on that silicone hose might be worse over time.

I have the same filter (just larger) with my single set-up and my radiator hose rubbed it for a little over a year now with no problems. I WOULD move that solenoid though. The increased distance should not really make any difference. My solenoid is up by the abs unit and it works great there, and more protected from the heat... I really like the suggestion sgtblue made with creating some sort of guard for it with another piece of hose. It is a good precautionary measure. Another thing you may be able to try is just try to get the top of the radiator to lean back a bit more. That would give you clearance in both places. You may have to bend those brackets or make some new ones but that would not be too difficult.

ill see what i can do. the only problem is i moved the ac condenser so thats its pretty much flush with the radiator. if i moved one i would need to move the other and i dont have much more to work with when it comes to the ac. the radiator has custom brackets so i could easily movie it though.

ok im about finished my build but im stuck on one thing...hooking up the radiator fans. i got the fans and the radiator already put together. the guy before me had put together these relay boxs and im not sure if he spliced into the original wireing coming off the factory relays, or if he eliminated them. any info would help alot. heres a pict of what im working with..
