Will I be reusing any parts with my PWR radiator?
Will I be reusing any parts such as the drain plug or the mounting bushings with my PWR radiator? I just want to get it all panned out before I start the install.
Also, any tips on removing/installing the radiator from the bottom? |
My PWR came with its own drain plug. You will reuse the stock upper mounting brackets (reverse them so you have more room for a SMIC if you have one). You will probably have to trim a bit off the radiator fan frame assembly in order for it to fit flush against the radiator properly.
Cut two sections out of the box your radiator came in, and duct tape them to the open face of the radiator, but leave the tape in an area that can be easily removed once the radiator is nearly in place. This will protect the radiator fins from getting banged up. |

Yes, with the PWR you will re-use them.
