ok to start off with i figured my coolant seal is going cause coolant keeps going into th e overflow tank and the coolant light comes on and its always low but anyways i was going down the road today and all of a sudden my car feels like it over reved which i was no where near there and then i pushe in the clutch and the idle is bouncind between 2k and 3k rpms so i turn of the a/c now it is stuck dead at 2k. but on the other hand my brakes dont work they are stiff and hard to break. does anyone know wtf is wrong with my car i believe i was born with bad luck. thanks in advance with any help.

It seems that you have a few seperate problems here. As far as the coolant goes, I wouldn't jump to the conclusion that it's your seals. I may be a small leak somewhare else. It may even be your filler cap (I have had 3 go out on me in one year!). Do you see coolant leaking anywhere? Have you given her the champaign test?

Brake problem is maybe a leak in the line to the brake booster - that could also cause a feeling of "over-rev" and the high idle if that large vacuum line came loose.

Search for coolant threads - there are 100's of them.

As for the brakes, there's a check-vavle in the brake booster line. There was a TSB about this. That could be the problem with your brakes
