Wierd boost leak> need help

Hey this is driving me insane but i am leaking boost somewhere and i cant figure it out. On the piggy back computer i am at most getting 9 lbs but on my boost gauge in the car i am reading 13 or so. I want 13 and have ran that before but i cant figure where my loss is.

Am I correct that the stock boost sensor is located at the throttle body, because if this is the case then how is it feasable that the nipple on the upper IM is reading 13 pounds. Any thoughts or suggestions on what to check out?

By the way my boost controller is also reading 13 or so lbs but my ass tells me no way.

where is your boost gauge located. Off the nipple on the left side of the UIM? If so, thats definetly the correct boost reading.

If thats what it is, there are many problems which could make that occur. IE high boost but low power. This is currently the situation im in...But im pretty sure mines caused by a bad TPS. So I guess you could check to make sure thats within spec...

Maybe a clogged cat? If you have one.

what kind of piggyback are you running?? I would say that if the boost controller and boost guage are reading 13psi, I would trust that you are. I dont think i would be looking for a boost leak with these symptoms.

It would seem one of them is not reading properly.

Section F of the FSM shows how to test the MAP.

Another easy test would be to buy a tee and run your boost gauge off the map sensor line.

If the piggy-back is a PFS/EFI unit:
