do you have an actual picture of the car depending on what you have already will obviously depend on what you need. when you say shell thats a vague discription.
if you post a pic i will try and help you out as i have done the bsport wide body on my car at one point but eventually took it off after a distructive encounter with a curb.

pic does not work
depending on the kit , you might need to modify the fender liner to fit under the fender , or you will have a gap

MoePwr 01-22-12 02:34 PM

That's what I'm wondering... Do I need fender liner and everything in that diagram

felix_is_alive 01-22-12 02:58 PM

I don't know whta you have at the moment ,but even if you get the new fender liner ,you will Still need to modify it to fit the widend fender

MoePwr 01-22-12 03:50 PM

How do you modify it?

IWINULUZ 01-23-12 12:42 AM

I dont see you being able to modify it being that on alot of after market fenders they barely have big enough IF ANY inside tabs to connect fender liner to, also remember if you are stretching the fender liner that will bring it closer to your tire, and more than likely will scrub. good luck

thanks for the info. i just would like to know whether or not its needed because im ordering widebody fenders with my tax return and am going to need all new mounting requirements as well. just wondering what i need

Crap I still think the burnout kit car is in my shop , and the body shop guy was here a few days ago , I can see if I can get pictures

MoePwr 01-23-12 10:40 AM

that would be great

tools: measuring tape, tin snips, a drill, a rivit gun and a little inginuity should get it done but depending on what you have on the car. if it were me i would pull the wheel apron out of a dually ford truck rear end and modify to fit the front end. it doesnt have to be an intricate piece of work it just has to protect what isnt being protected by the factory fender liner. you could easily find these trucks at any junk yard or pulla part

if im not mistaken i think they are held on by heavy duty staples on the rear end of the truck. you could also use thr front end wheel liner to make the job easier. this is what i did with my bsport wide body before i demolished it
