widebody kit or new bumper, any interested?
Hi, i just went to a local body shop that only does modification and body kit. The guy won a lot of prices with is cars both in Canada and USA.
I showed him just for fun the wide body kit that is worth 15 000 and i was aking him how much it would cost to have something like that. He said that it would be around 2500$ if i was buying a coupe of those Pretty nice huh? For all four corner that is and it will not be a replica, he doesn't want to copy, he wants to create. I would like to know if some people would be interested in the development of a wide body kit or simply of a new type of bumper that could cost less than those available we have right now and be of equal or better quality. I also suggested him a hood and he said that a perfect quality fiberglass hood would cost around 500$ but we need to order a couple of them since he needs to do R&D. So tell me if anyone is interested and what kind of pieces would you guy like to have. I will need to let him my car all winter long next winter so that he can work on something so it won't be before next year. have a nice day puma |
Sounds interested. I'm interested in a bumper now but if it's next year then a whole widebody would be awesome.

I would be interested in a new bumper and wide body. I would want the front end to be clean and sleek like the Border Type-4 w/99 spec lights and the wide body to blend in with the body as well as possible. heres a picture of the Border front end but this ones without the 99 spec lights.

Damn server... Won't let me attach another one of this pic cause i posted it in another thread. Here's a crappy pic but with the 99' spec lights.

if he does a widebody tell him to make a rear bumper to go with it. That way the rear edges of the kit will line up with the bumper cap-unlike the RE kit.
As far as front bumpers go, I would love to see one that does away with the stock lights completely-eg yellow KS showcar. we have a million aftermarket bumpers already, it's time to start thinking further outside the box. |
yup yup... if he could make a rear bumper that would be excellent. i'm in need of a new one since the stock is smushed.
