I'll certainly agree to the fragility of the interior. I am usually pretty damn easy on the interior of cars I own(ed). I have NEVER owned a car with such cheap interior pieces. OK, I drove a 85 Renault Encore for a year in HS that was cheaper.....
My 79 RX-7 interior was far more durable and was actually in better shape than my 95. Since I took ownership, the defroster vents have split in 3 places and the door compartment lid has broken off. These things were NOT due to abuse or accident. Anyway, I've owned this car and driven it enough now that I too have moments when I wish I could just sell the damn thing but then I think of life without and I quickly change my mind. This car's got me now.....:) |
I was :owned: by my FD when I first saw the Ads for the FD back in late 92...
