Who's using MBC?
List what kind of MBC and let me know how they work..

I have a Joe P. MBC, DSM style. It works perfectly, but I am non-sequential and didn't run it sequentially. It holds rock steady boost all the wa to redline, doesnt creep, spike, or drop boost.

I'm running a Hallman Evo Rx. It's their latest design. It's all aluminum with a lightweight ceramic ball. At $125, it's not much cheaper than a new boost solenoid for your AVC-R. This controller has given me ZERO problems though. It's easy to adjust and super consistent.

I have the boost solenoids for the AVCr. The screen crapped out on mine so i am going Profec. If you would like them and stay with the AVCr let me know. I can get them out immediately. Just make an offer. ( shipping plus a beer will do;) )

I've been running one as well since the beginning of the summer with positive results, I bought it from a forum member last year. Boost holds steady to redline without spiking on my full non-seq. setup, I've been very pleased with it.

im running one. its a ball and spring type that i made and its working great, i get a 10-8-10 curve with intake, exhaust, intercooler (smic but its 4X as big as stock), all metal piping and a stock ecu :)
i can relibly turn up or down boost by 1/2 a psi per 1/2 turn so i like it very well |
hallman pro rx over here. 10-9-10 maybe 11 in 3rd, probably nearing 13 in 4th, never use 5th. street port, full exhaust, rebuiilt US spec turbos. needs adjusting about once every two weeks just to make sure but it works damn good and its cheap(depending). you need the light spring and ceramic ball. damian had a good thread on it but its old.

Yup, I've got dual Halllman Pro-RX's and they work great. Adjustment is needed for a large temperature or altitude change, but other than that they are rock solid.

i forgot to mention that a ball and spring type controller seems to beable to allow for more control. the hole/diameter of the hosing and mbc valves will allow for a little less boost (i notice that my first mbc which was a bleeder valve could not bring down boost to resonable levels for me).

i've got an mbc, holds boost steady really well, only thing is when it gets cold up here in NY it tends to boost more and needs to be readjusted, kidna a pain
