Who makes the best performance stock turbo rebuilds?

Who makes the best performance stock turbo rebuilds? I was told there was a tuner that rebuilt stock turbos for direct bolt on applications that are good for 17PSI and up. I would like to keep with the stock setup for ease of installation, but I want a turbo setup that will handle higher boost.

Thanks in advance!

That would be BNR. To my knowledge, his new brand of rebuilds aren't ready for the public yet. The RX-7 Store will most likely be selling them when they are available as they did with the previous revisions.

turbochargers.com can rebuild your turbos with a larger compressor wheel. I'm not sure what the specs are on this larger wheel or where they get it. You'd have to ask them.

When I asked Majestic Turbo about this (http://www.maesticturbo.com ... they've done some terrific work on Garrett turbos for some friends for mine), they said that they were aware of the 'upgrade' being offered but did not recommend it.

Although compressor wheels are relatively light components, apparently the stock turbo shaft in the HT12's are prone to breaking with the bigger wheels. For this reason, Majestic does not offer an upgrade...just rebuild services.

BNR sounds like a good bet. They upgrade the shaft and all for better durability.
