White stuff in the oil filler tube

Hi. As the title implies, there's some white goopy stuff in my oil filler tube. It looks like there's moisture in there and I beleive I I recall that symptom to be water in the oil system that froths or something like that. Anybody have this happen that can give me a better idea of what's going on?

I changed my oil about a month ago and there was no sign of that stuff there yet. Last Sunday the 11th I was driving home and blew open the engine to heater core hose. Luckily I was right down the street from home and Shut the engine off imediately and coasted and only turned the engine on to park, which was very breif. Could this have caused a water leak that quickly built up the stuff in the oil. This was less than a week later that I found the white stuff.

On another note. Since I fixed a minor water leak in Feb, I have not had to fill up the cooling system at all. And yes my warning light does work.

Thanks for any info in advance.

Yeah, oil + water = goop.

Don't worry I've had a few of these cars and everyone of them had the capability of developing goop. Just drive it hard and change the oil regulary and don't sweat the small stuff :)

When the coolant light keeps coming on and you run hot even on the highway thats when you worry. Or when she shakes like a paint mixer :)
