white smoke at WOT
I was driving down the highway next to a few friends and they say they saw a little white smoke every once and a while. I asked if it looked like the smoke was coming out after I shifted, at WOT, and they weren't too sure. Aside from mounting a camera back there and looking for myself, I can't be sure either. White smoke usually = coolant seals going bad... is a small amount at WOT normal? I am planning on a rebuild soon to accomodate a single turbo upgrade, anyway, but still curious. Any thoughts?

i would keep an eye on coolant level/temp, if it's burning coolant your level should be dropping. what are your temp readings at rpm when smoking?

If i keep my AC on 1, it'll hold my coolant temps around 83-86C. Air charge was about 30C, if i remember correctly.

anyone else have some insight?

Are sure the smoke is white? If I was a gambling man I'd wager that the smoke is probably bluish
You should have someone drive your car so you can see it for yourself. |
yeah i can't be sure what they saw. i hate having people drive my car, but looks like it's my only option.
