Where to get bushings?

Hi..

I have bushings made of delrin that someone made for me. But im so stupid and lost 2 of them ...
Can anyone tell me were on the internett I can get new bushings made of delrin

Stupid would be not replacing worn bushings with stock bushings. The plastic ones are for track cars.

I'm not sure if the person making those Delrin bushings is still doing it. If he is, he isn't advertising on this site as far as I can tell. I wonder if he is on the v8rx7forum...

??????

And for the record, I do feel those Delrin bushings are track only. I'd hate to drive a car with those on the street. The stock bushings are surprisingly good on the FD.

Agreed.. I was going to replace all bushings with the Super Pro kit.... However, after changing my shocks and springs I inspected the rubber bushings. They are in fine condition.... No cracks, no dis-bonding. The pillowballs are totally shot, but this is normal.

Making me rethink my approach. Read Howard Coleman's suspension thread on FD's.... you will learn a lot.

If you want Super Pros, you can get them at RX7store.net....they have them now. I was thinking of going that route, but I too now have to re-think it. Too stiff for the streets eh? Definitely would like to avoid that. I want performance without the clunk and stiffness.

There are many people on this forum running SuperPros with no complains. I haven't installed mine yet, but rubber is not the best long term solution imo, polyurethane seems to be a good compromise between rubber and nylon/delrin.

Does it matter alot if I get polymeth brushings on the egineframe and the rest og them are in delrin? Could I then get some sort of unbalance on the car?

The rubber bushings on an FD (with the exception of the differential bushings) last a long time - probably well north of 100k miles. I replaced mine at 50k (to be replaced with rubber Mazdaspeed ones) and they looked practically new.

So what you are saying is that i can run original bushings in the front and have my delrin ones in the rear and this is ok.. for the cars balance at hard use/track?
